Diabetic Clinic - by invitation

All diabetic patients are invited to see Mrs.Debbie Pegram our specialist diabetic nurse each year.During the year we also encourage all diabetics to undergo a diabetic eye check with Dr Lee's optician in Witney,this provides the most upto date and accurate method for the pick of patients with eye problems and is paid for by your local GP service.Blindness in patients with diabetes is a major problem , please attend your appoitment .If you have not been contacted let us know immediately.Each year at the very least in order to assess your micro and macrovascular systems we need to perform blood tests and an early morning urine sample to test for kidney damage - again if you have not heard from us - let us know.
