Private Medical Services/Non-NHS Examinations Medical examinations for special purposes, eg pre-employment, insurance medicals, elderly drivers etc, can be arranged by appointment. Some services fall outside the NHS and a charge is usually made for these. This includes the completion and signing of private medical insurance claim forms, private medical certificates, signing passport applications and various special medical examinations for sport, insurance or employment. Details of these services can be obtained from the reception or secretarial staff of the practice together with a note of the current charges. |
